Alpha denotes ‘beginning’, the Divine Origin of the Cosmos, the Ultimate Source of Life. The Alpha Point of evolution is thus the Datum, denoting the starting point of all creative growth processes, not at some point in the distant past, but right Now, beyond space and time, as the two dimensions of time indicate.

I have become aware that the Formless, Nondual Absolute is Reality because a big bang erupted in the utmost depths of my psyche at 11:30 on 27th April 1980, as I was strolling across Wimbledon Common to the pub for lunch. At the time, I was working for IBM, developing an innovative marketing programme for Decision Support Systems.

While puzzling about the most critical unanswered questions in science, I realized that data patterns in humans and computers are synergistically energetic, thereby explaining what is causing the pace of scientific discovery and technological invention to accelerate exponentially, as David Attenborough had pointed out the year before in Life on Earth.

As a result of this anomalous apocalyptic awakening, all the divergent streams of evolution have converged within me at its Omega Point, enabling Life, emanating from the Alpha Point, to develop a radically new science of causality by solving the ultimate problem of human learning within me, called Panosophy.

As Alpha and Omega are one, by the fundamental law of the Universe, Alpha also denotes the starting point for involution, at the Omega Point of evolution, as spiritual practitioners return to the Source, in union with the Divine, in the time-honoured manner.
