Śūnyatā

In Panosophy, Śūnyatā, as ‘Emptiness’ in Buddhism, is akin to the Source, as the Divine Origin of the Universe, which is the Datum, the zeroth primal concept in Integral Relational Logic.

Sanskrit Śūnyatā thus corresponds to the Void in the second verse of the book of Genesis in the Judaic Torah and Christian Bible.

Etymology

Sanskrit ‘emptiness, hollowness, void’, from śūnya ‘empty’, from svi ‘swollen’, and -ta ‘-ness’. Apparently not etymologically related to swell, or to Sanskrit una- ‘deficient’, cognate with void.
